Insulated Pipe Supports

Unitherm™ insulated pipe supports are in service throughout the world, handling severe load, pressure and temperature conditions in aggressive operating environments.

With a product range designed for both high and low (cryogenic) temperature applications incorporating advanced polymer composites, Unitherm™ works with Customers to meet the specific needs of their project for engineered pipe support solutions.

Pipe Anchors & Line Stops

Maineport Anchor

Unitherm™ has pioneered the development of ‘Spool-In’ anchor supports whereby factory-built units incorporate a pipe spool which is welded directly into the pipeline.

Anchor units are available in a wide range of insulation materials and pipe materials ensuring that the required level of structural integrity is combined with efficient thermal performance.

Units are manufactured in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) where required for European project installations, in addition to construction codes such as ASME.

This technology is also available for less severe duties (such line and directional stops), where pipe restraint is determined by pipe stress analysis.

Rest & Guide Supports

Maineport - Rests and Guides

Unitherm™ Rest & Guide units are manufactured to in-house quality standards and customers’ project-specific requirements. Appropriate design and materials selection using specially developed software ensures effective thermal performance and structural integrity under critical operating conditions, including seismic, transient and other severe duty criteria.

A wide range of support solutions are available to maintain operational integrity for the life cycle of the plant.

Insulation materials are selected and manufactured to challenging and stringent specifications. All insulation materials undergo extensive independent testing and validation to ensure product integrity under the most arduous environmental and operational conditions.

Composite Block Supports

Maineport - Composite Block Support

Composite Block supports are used in support applications where structural integrity incorporating a thermal barrier is a primary requirement.

Consideration of the optimum combination of thermal and structural properties is very important, and the correct selection of insulation materials must be made as appropriate for the specified operating conditions.
